Originally The Royal Bedroom, this is where James I is thought to have slept during his three visits to the Castle in 1619, 1621 & 1624. Today this room is depicted as a Day Parlour - In Medieval and Tudor times the Parlour was used by the family as a private withdrawing or living room.
